Zhou quickly impressed in his rookie season last year with multiple point scoring positions and his ability to keep up with veteran teammate Valtteri Bottas. He was the core victim in a large crash at the start of the 2022 British Grand Prix in which his car was overturned and sent tumbling up and over the track barriers, further validating the life-saving properties of the controversial Halo.
